Want to check your answers to an algebra problem and see the steps worked through for you? Here is a cool site that will solve for x and show you the steps to work through it yourself.
*hint: make sure you are using lots of brackets to input your expression. Computers aren’t as smart as you.
Sorry for the delay. Here are the answer keys to the worksheet package from class. Hope you’re having a good weekend.
In class today I had you fill out a form so I could get to know you a little bit better and learn how to help you achieve success in Math 10 this semester. So it’s only fair that I let you know a little bit about me.

Getting to know me:
Yes I do have a job. I’m teaching mornings here at Parkland, and in the afternoons I am a substitute teacher so you never know where I might show up. This is my sixth year teaching, though only my second semester at Parkland.
I am a birth doula and I attended my first births this summer which was an incredible and powerful experience.
I am also a mom to the most handsome and wonderful one year old boy. Occasionally you may need to remind me to stop talking about my baby and get back to the math…
I help coach the rugby team (at Stellys) in the spring. I like the outdoors and especially the beach. My undergraduate degree at Uvic was in marine biology. My hobbies include cycling, sewing, hiking, camping and reading.
I am a very hands on learner and I remember information best if I write it down myself. I was not a math genius in high school and I know what it is like to struggle through material that seems like it is written in another language, so please do not hesitate to come see me for help.
