Work block for your Essential Elements project. This project is due next Friday Oct 10th
There will be no more scheduled class time to work on this assignment, although if you finish other work early feel free to keep working on your project.
Finished projects can take any form that demonstrates a thorough understanding of your selected element and includes all the required information. Please be creative!!
Some ideas: Comic strip, poster, pamphlet, song, video, website, prezi, powerpoint, story etc.
Today in class we did a lab to calculate the volume of a single molecule of oleic acid.
Remember that the UNIT 1 TEST is Tuesday October 7 and ALL unit 1 assignments, labs and workbook pages are due this day.

Tomorrow will we be starting your element project so come prepared to choose an element to study.
Next week I will start quizzing you (7 elements per day) on the names and symbols of 35 common elements.

Corrections: Quizzes are useful to give you and I good insight into what areas or topics you still have more work to do. In order to encourage further review corrected errors are worth 1/2 mark per corrected question to improve your quiz grade. Guidelines for corrections:
