Today’s lesson was tricky for sure.
Lets break it down into smaller manageable steps. First we need to have some sort of quadrilateral shape (four sided uneven shape).
Steps to solve
- Divide shape from one point to another using a ruler to form 2 triangles.
- Divide each triangle into 2 by drawing a perpendicular line from the remaining point to the line you drew in step 1.
- Measure each side of the 4 right triangles using a ruler.
- Calculate area of each triangle.
- Add all the areas together.
